<description>When my son was diagnosed with leukemia, our business went into hiatus - I did only minor upkeep to keep it from completely dying. It stayed that way, through his initial chemo, and then when I got pregnant, and then through the birth and subsequent death of our infant daughter. A month after our daughter&#039;s death, I went back to work. I did so differently because of those experiences. I made sure my business was mobile, I focused on automating the routine parts of the business, moved to using only laptops, and consolidated the work to the kinds that could go anywhere, with the least equipment and overhead. The experience is one of the major contributing factors to our current rapid growth and success.
